Upcoming 2012 Cars Audi A6 Preview with specification and prices
The Audi A6 sticks to a traditional look, but has some changes to distinguish it from its predecessors and other Audi models. Known for reliability, it is expected to continue the trend while offering good fuel efficiency and affordability compared to other cars in its class.
Audi A6 Exterior Features
The A6 is to be built using Audis modular-longitudinal platform. This will allow the car to have a more balanced look rather than the front-heavy appearance of the prior model years. The front end will end up looking much like the companys Sportback concept. LED light strips are almost certain to be present, along with a slightly downsized, but more efficient, powertrain. The construction of the A6s body will be mostly steel.
The Mercedes and the BMW are two focused cars aimed at different kinds of buyers. And then there's the Audi A6. The A6 carries over the characteristic Audi in-your-face theme that scream's loud saying that if you want to conquer the world you need to be Master of all. The A6 Quattro is as sporty as it is luxurious, as fast as it is comfortable, as enjoyable as it is safe. The A6, as they say, is in a class of its own. It wasn't always that way, with Audi's sales figures showing dismal compared to arch rivals Mercedes and BMW in Europe. All that has changed for Audi with the new A6 taking the fight to its rivals from Stuttgart and Munich quite comprehensively. Clever packaging, pricing, quality control and most of all, a much better street presence has made the difference.
